Winter's Solace

Winter's Solace is a bit of bibelot that captures the serene essence of a winter landscape. The scene depicts a river running through snow-covered banks, with large rocks and trees adding depth and contrast to the composition. The overall mood of the painting is one of quiet and solitude, evoking the chilly essence of a winter scene where nature rests in anticipation of spring. 

This work was juried in and exhibited at the 57th Newport Beach Art Exhibition, Newport Beach Civic Center, June 29, 2024; and was on exhibit at the City of Santa Clarita Winter Wonderland Exhibition, January 8-March 6, 2025.
